Institutional Investor compiled its 2007 Fixed-Income Buy-Side Compensation Report based on the participation of more than 330 professionals. We asked each participant to provide his or her 2005 and 2006 Salary, Bonus and Total Compensation. Additionally, we asked respondents to provide us with 2007 salary figures. The results for Salary, Bonus and Total Compensation were tabulated individually. (Besides Salary and Bonus, Total Compensation may include net profits and other cash compensation in U.S. dollars.) The Normalized High and Normalized Low amounts represent the upper and lower bounds computed at a 90 percent confidence level. All responses are confidential. The responses were checked for validity. In addition to compensation statistics by Job Function, we have also included results by Industry Concentration, Education Level and Institution Type.
