With banks around the world beefing up their Asian research departments, how are investors to know which analysts stand out from the ever-expanding legions of their peers? To assist, Institutional Investor unveils the All-Asia Research Team, a ranking of the top research analysts following the Asia ex- Japan markets in 30 categories of industry, country and macro research. In compiling our ranking we consulted more than 1,100 buy-side analysts and portfolio managers at more than 500 firms, who collectively manage an estimated $1.03 trillion in non-Japanese Asian equities.
